In my artistic work, I examine the connection between thinking and being (here, now), using all the achievements of the seemingly faster and faster turning world. At the same time I feel a great yearning for rest and meditation. Thus I connect the experimentation with color and material with a meditative painting style. This results in penetrating layers of paint, which are superimposed by means of large, almost monochrome areas. My work is non-objective, and even if it has associations with figurative, I am still concerned with the processual and physical act of painting, the sensory process of finding and being found, and the interaction of the various components within the paintings.
